Dmitri Croitor serves as a non-executive board director of Volare Shipping Ltd. Dmitri is Head of Energy Asia at Trafigura, based in Singapore with responsibility for managing the company’s Crude Oil and Petroleum Products, LNG and Carbon trading activity across the region.
Dmitri joined Trafigura in early 2014 to develop the Naphtha and Condensates business across Europe. He was appointed Global Head of Naphtha and Condensates in May 2019 and took on the additional role of Head of Bitumen in October 2021.
Dmitri started his career as a research fellow for an intergovernmental organisation in Geneva. Before joining Trafigura he spent almost seven years working for a trading firm in Geneva, where he was responsible for European naphtha trading.
A Moldovan and Swiss citizen, Dmitri holds a Master’s degree in Economics & Management from the University of Geneva.
